Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning, often free, panoramic views from the Cibeles Palace observation deck, calling it a must-visit for photographers and anyone wanting to see Madrid from above. The accessible exhibitions on urban life are also a plus. Some find the interior a bit less grand than expected, but the overall experience is highly positive.

"CentroCentro is definitely worth a visit whether you’re a tourist or live in Madrid. It’s housed in a beautiful historic building that used to be Madrid’s main post office, and you can still feel the grandeur of that era in its architecture—even the stairways are worth admiring.

They usually have several exhibitions running at once, covering everything from contemporary art to social themes. Most are free, and every text is provided in both Spanish and English, which makes it easy to explore. Worth a visit—and as a bonus, it’s close to Retiro Park, so you can take a walk before or after."

"We visited CentroCentro for the exhibition Instante eterno en el jardín and had a wonderful experience.

The building itself is absolutely stunning — a true architectural gem. It’s fantastic that such a beautiful space is being used for a variety of exhibitions and cultural events.

Inside, everything is thoughtfully organized. On the 8th floor, there’s a restaurant and a viewing terrace with an incredible panoramic view of central Madrid — definitely worth a visit.
There’s also a lovely gift shop on the second floor with unique items and souvenirs.

We enjoyed both the exhibition and the atmosphere of the building as a whole. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madrid!"

"Amazing place inside and out. Already at the entrance, we were greeted with a smile and explanations from the staff of the place. Fast and comfortable elevators led between the 5 floors open to free exhibitions (unfortunately, the upper ones were closed for renovations). The exhibition curators did an amazing job. We wandered all over the museum with an electric scooter for the disabled and felt great. There is no doubt that this is one of the most inviting and pleasant museums we have visited."
