What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Teatro Real Madrid is widely praised for its exceptional opera productions and stunning architecture. Visitors often highlight the incredible acoustics and the grandeur of the auditorium. While ticket prices can be high for popular shows, the overall experience is considered well worth it for opera lovers and cultural tourists alike.
"I took the guided tour in English and I am very happy that I did so. Inside the building is quite big. Not only the stage and seating area are beautiful, also there are multiple rooms designed like that of a palace. Our guide Arturo is a very kind person and explained everything well. Although we were a small group, the tour took longer than planned with the questions answered. Taking photos inside is restricted."

"Wow, wow, WOW! The building is very well managed, very nice. Seats are comfy, sound was great! I saw la traviata and it was worth it!
You have to buy ticket in advance"
Mario Ovalle (Dito Ovalle)
"It is very nice opera house, and important one on the world's operatic map. Casts are usually very good, and producers like stage and music directors are always better than average. Theatre is modern, accessible for disabled. Ushers & people serving directly to public are nice, friendly and helpful. I had a bad side seat, and I moved to better section. While I was waiting for last moment to take an empty seat, no one was bothering me (not like in Vienna - where to do such switch would be like almost a crime...)"
