What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Aqualand Maspalomas offers a fun-filled day with a good mix of thrilling slides and family-friendly areas. While many visitors enjoy the rides and the overall experience, some find the additional costs for food, lockers, and loungers to be quite high, leading to a perception of it being a 'money trap'.
"Me and my partner went on a Tuesday in June, turned up just after 10 expecting huge queues and needing to pay extra for fast track tickets but were suprised to find the park fairly quiet.
The rides were brilliant, good mix of fast and drops. Managed to get on every ride without waiting more than 10 minutes which for a peak summer time I don’t think is bad at all.
Food is on the expensive side, especially if you order a meal so we just ordered chips. Food is from what we had good quality! Numerous places to order on site.
If you take the bus expect to either wait until 15:00 or have to pay for a taxi back (which was really cheap back to our hotel). Not sure if it’s always like this but the buses stopped running there in the afternoon.
All round a really good water park and we really enjoyed our time there!"

"We had a fab day out here - 2 adults, 1 tall 6 year old - her favourite day of the holiday. We got on all the slides within 10 mins max. We visited on Monday 1st sept. No problem filling a whole day here.
We took our own food after seeing reviews on the cost and quality of food, although had coffee and a waffle from their and were perfectly fine and not to pricey.
Glad we took water shoes as this makes getting around a lot easier and can be worn on all rides. We had water proof phone cases and only had to leave our phones at the bottom of the slides with the mats (which makes sense as you lay head first on your tummy, we could take them on all others.
We paid for a locker for our valuables but left all our bags with our sun loungers and these were fine.
Toilets and changing facilities were good and clean. Not sure why so many negative reviews, this almost put us off but really glad we visited in the end! Prices are pretty much what you expect in these tourist places.
Excellent day out!"

"Aqualand
Visited middle of August 2025
its not overly bad I wouldn't return though.
€35 per person for a fast pass is extremely expensive ( €140 for my family of 4 ) after spending €190 for return coach and entry.
Food is expensive roughly €80 for 3 burgers, chips and drinks, 2 portions of fries and 1 cheese bites.
You could complete the park in less than 2 hours but with the ques you are spending more time queuing than you are on the rides. I've been to parks I'd happily return to but for me this is a 1 time thing"

The park's layout is spacious, allowing for a full day of fun without feeling overly cramped, and the availability of lockers provides peace of mind for your belongings.
💰 Budget-Conscious Travelers
Look for online ticket deals and inquire about any re-entry discounts if you plan to visit more than once. thrill-seekers
While the park has attractions for all ages, the main draw for thrill-seekers will be the collection of larger, faster slides. Investing in a waterproof phone case is also a good idea to capture the action from your perspective.

Navigating the Rides: Thrills for All Ages
It's important to note that some rides have height restrictions, typically between 1.20m and 1.50m. While there's a dedicated kids' area, a significant number of the larger slides are geared towards older children and adults. This means younger children might have a more limited selection of rides available to them, so it's worth checking specific ride requirements if you have very young children.
Many visitors report being able to experience most of the rides within a few hours if queues are short. However, during peak season, waiting times can extend, making the optional Fast Pass a consideration for those who want to maximize their ride time.
Budgeting Your Day: Beyond the Ticket Price
Food and beverages within the park are a significant cost. Reviews frequently mention that meals can be quite expensive, with a family of four potentially spending around €80 on food. While some reviewers found the food quality to be good and portions generous, others describe it as overpriced. Many visitors choose to bring their own snacks and drinks to mitigate these costs.
For those looking to save, consider purchasing tickets online in advance, as this can sometimes offer better rates. Additionally, some TikTok videos highlight the possibility of a discounted re-entry ticket for a second visit within a month, which could be a smart option if you're staying longer and want to revisit the park.
Essential Gear and Practicalities
Another essential item is a waterproof phone case. While some slides require you to leave your phone at the bottom, many allow you to take it with you if it's protected. This is invaluable for capturing photos and videos of your aquatic adventures and also for keeping your locker key safe.
When it comes to facilities, the park generally offers clean and well-spaced toilets. Some recent reviews mention updated changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers, indicating ongoing improvements to guest facilities. Remember to check the park's official website for the most current information on opening hours and any specific regulations before your visit.
