Another incredible place. So we were staying in Bajamar for two days, so the first day we were enjoying the natural pools in there, and on the next day we headed to Punta del Hidalgo, just 2kms away from Bajamar. There's a natural pool by the sea. The good thing is the facilities are adapted for people with reduced mobility. Find the cheapest flight deals on your upcoming holiday to Tenerife...

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Punta del Hidalgo Natural Pools for their unique ocean-meets-pool experience and the thrill of waves crashing in. Many appreciate the free access and the chance to see small fish. However, some note that the pools can get dirty and require minor restoration, and shade is limited, necessitating an early arrival.

"A very unusual and cool pool for those who are afraid or cold to swim in the ocean. The pool is free, relatively clean and comfortable, works around the clock. Well built, you can even catch splashes from the waves. But already needs a little restoration. A must-see.

Recommended."

Kyrylo Shevchuk

"Amazing experience. We spent hours at this pool. My little sister wore goggles and followed little fish around all day.
The water is salty but its not much of a bother because there are fresh water showers to rinse off.

There is not much shade so you should go early. That being said - we arrived around 11 during the week and managed to find a spot with shade for about 3 hours before the sun came over."

Gabriella Olivier

"A great place to swim ! At high tide the swimming may be closed but later in the day it was perfect"
