What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for establishments on Carrera Espinel are mixed, with many praising the incredibly affordable tapas and lively atmosphere, especially in the evenings. However, some visitors have noted issues with food quality, cleanliness, and perceived overpricing for certain items, leading to a divided opinion on its overall value.
"I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal and I wasn't disappointed. Although my wife did enjoy her tapas. I went for the entrecot steak it was best a minute steak and was very tough. Tough as old boots."
Stillapatmike
"Save yourself and do not spend your money here. My brother asked for ice coffee, he got espresso. Asked for what it is, the waiter called it «ice coffee». My mother asked for entrecote, she got the thinnest piece of meat. The probably the best thing they served right was coca cola and a glass of beer. I ordered glass of fresh orange juice, they forgot to bring it"
Avar Lalo
"This is not fine, there is nothing fine about it. 2 salads with tough chicken pieces and 2 bottles of water was 18 euros. We ate inside the restaurant which was quite dirty and greasy. I don't think this is a 1/5 as it represents modest value. Appears to be a family run business with helpful wait staff. Washrooms were very dirty and unpleasant. If unkept washrooms are in full view by customers and staff what's the condition of the areas where customers don't normally visit, like the kitchen? My advice is to clean the place up, it won't cost much."
