"One of my favourite beaches on Menorca, quiet, peaceful and fine sand. It is lifeguarded, there is a toilet and a very decent ice cream van, which i can recomend. On the part towards the watchtower you can also do naturism in an respectful environment.
Oh and take your waste with you. Sadly i found a lot of plastic waste in the sea and removed a lot of it. A hint: Take goggles with you for the underwater world."

"Came back at the same place after a year and it was a shame that the weather was not very great.
But felt good just to stay on the sand and enjoy the afternoon having some snacks and relax.
Although the place is peaceful and pretty that day being windy and not being able to go to the water as it was full of seaweeds and with big waves last year we experienced something special that we had to come back this year.
Make sure to pack some lunch and snacks as there is only one restaurant near if not you will have to go back to Mao and have some lunch there which is around 10min driving from the beach."

"On holiday in Cala En Porter for a week. We have hired a car and are travelling around the island. We went to to Platja Sa Mesquida today on the recommendation of my wife’s auntie who lives in Ibiza. What a stunning little bay! Went snorkelling off the sandy beach and then moved around to the pebbled bay a short walk across the wooden footpath. Loads of fish and sea fauna to explore.
Absolute tranquility and peace!!
Met the gelato guy who has been in business for 30 years and bought some slush drinks from him to cool down. His van was parked up next to the little house at the bottom of the road.
This place is heavenly! Few people, two toilets, and the gelato guy. Bring some snacks, towels and an umbrella. How simple life can be!! 😌"
