"When first walking in my initial thought was that this was a very dated hotel. Yes it could use an update but with that being said the service especially by the gentleman at the front desk was 200% above and beyond expectations. He answered all questions and assisted in what ever capacity was needed. Breakfast was actually really great. He remembered your prior meal and had everything ready for you. Since the rooms did not have an in room fridge he kindly gave us daily ice to keep our cold bag cold. So nice. The rooms did not have a in room safe. The room was clean. The bed was hard as a rock to sleep on. A mattress pad with cushion would be a great additive. The location was perfect, drivable to places we went to visit and walkabout in the town. We were there without snow and it was a sleepy town I can only image during winter it would be very very busy."
