What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the exceptional value and family-friendly nature of the USC Natural History Museum, with a €2 admission for up to 8 people being a major highlight. The modern displays of minerals, mollusks, and animal specimens are engaging, though descriptions are primarily in Spanish/Galician. Some find the rock collection extensive, while others note a lack of English labels.
":) :) :) :) :) Ok it is not Free :( but ... €2 for a family of upto 8 persons is a very nice price. When we went we had the entire Musuem to ourselves as we were the only visitors. It can be seen in about 1.5 hrs - we know as this was all the time we had before it would close for siesta at 1400 when we arrived. Your entry payment is only good for the time you are there and must repay if you arrive when it reopens after siesta if you were too. Amazing collection and displays. Well laid out and with simple explanations (Galician and Spanish only) with of course Latin names for all species, rocks etc on display. The kids loved it. Absolutely worth a look :)"
