"It was scorching hot and this was the only place with shade."

"This Turia River Walk is a very beautiful walkway, running alongside the river along the western side of Teruel's urban center. This walkway features a metal pedestrian bridge in the northern part and another wooden pedestrian bridge in the southern part, allowing you to cross over the Turia River. If we continue the walkway northward, a few hundred meters further west, we will reach the confluence of the Guadalaviar and Alfambra Rivers, which from that point onwards becomes known as the Turia River. The river walk is very pleasant, sheltered by the shade provided by the large trees we encounter, making it an area to enjoy nature, take a leisurely walk, and relax. However, this beautiful natural setting could and should be better maintained, as it is very close to the city but, at the same time, I believe it is little known and enjoyed. I highly recommend visiting this river walk, as well as visiting this beautiful city of Teruel, which is also home to several Mudejar buildings declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site."
