Евгения Константинова
"A 16th-century palace where Queen Isabella II, among other notable figures, stayed. It is located at the entrance to the town, near the sea. Its main attraction lies in a legend revived in 1912 by Father Coloma, who was also a frequent guest at the palace: a Huguenot, fleeing France on St. Bartholomew's Day, was shipwrecked near Zarautz and taken in by the palace in "the blue room." Shortly afterward, he died mysteriously, and every August 23rd, his cries and weeping are said to be heard as the furniture and paintings come to life. This legend has been used for the popular escape room game."
