Boats are somehow aged but they do maintain them.
I scratched my leg when I stepped into a cracked in the boat floor. I did complain about this and they fixed the boat a couple of weeks later and sent me videos and photos.

(I heard some are charging 40$, but I also know that higher prices are likely due to tips boat operators sometimes pay to the drivers who bring tourists there.)

The slow boating around the lake was very lovely.
The best part of the trip was just chilled boating around.
So ultimately I recommend the activity, but make sure you pick a recently maintained boat .
Oh and make sure they give you a safety vest. They do have new vests but somehow since I was a solo traveller and we departed very quickly it was only later that realised we didn't take any vests"
