What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Talpe Rock Pools are praised for their unique natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere, offering a peaceful alternative to busier beaches. Visitors enjoy the calm waters during low tide, the photo opportunities, and the historical context of the pools. However, some find the facilities basic and the ticketing process rushed.
"A beautiful place to spend an hour or 2 depending on the weather. Its best to get there by 9am and check the low tide and high tide timings before making your way here as the waves can get quite rough when the tide is higher. Its quite safe during low tide.
We had to pay for parking and each person was charged Rs. 100 which was quite alright. This depends on which parking area you go to, there were a few."

"We had an amazing time at the beach and truly enjoyed the overall experience! ❤️🔥 The view was beautiful, and the time spent there was totally worth it. 🌊✨
As soon as we got off the bus, the staff at the counter insisted that we buy tickets immediately (Rs.300 per person) without giving us time to decide. Because of this rush, one of our group members even missed getting off the bus. Later, we found out there were other places to buy tickets too, but they didn’t inform us.
They promised facilities to keep our bags and change clothes, but the arrangements were disappointing — only two small tables for bags and a very uncomfortable changing area with holes that could be seen from outside. While changing clothes, the premises staff frequently walked in and interrupted us, making us feel very uncomfortable.
The shower area was also open with no privacy, and we couldn’t even open the tap fully because the ticketing personnel would scold us if we did."
