Seems like this is only used now for organized tours but by looking at the buildings it was probably a fun place for transport between Paramaribo and New Amsterdam across the river, but now is largely run down or abandoned (will speculate that the bridge built led to its demise). So don't be concerned if you get dropped off here for dolphin watching or a plantation tour - just follow the path down to the waters edge and you'll find the pier."
