"Spectacular! Lilliehöökfjorden on the map looks like a lollipop stick topped with a circular bay for the lollipop. The piece de resistance is the semi-circular Lilliehöökbreen (glacier) enveloping the bay.
Adjacent to Signehamna where we started our day ashore watching reindeer across a small freshwater lake then re-boarded our zodiacs to cruise among the many medium sized icebergs calved (“debouched”) by the immense Lilliehöökbreen. Our zodiac was lucky to be driven by the Ocean Atlantic’s glacier expert, Sanna Kallio, whose skills allowed us to safely get up close and personal with some of the more photogenic icebergs. An amazing morning and a great start to a memorable 4th of July!
