"Stayed for 4 nights, and we were very happy. The rooms are really large, and though a little basic and dated, they are clean and comfortable.
We were travelling with a dog, and the hotel is very pet friendly, even having a Dog Station in the lobby with snacks and fresh water always available.
You may have to book a time slot for breakfast, but that's just sensible given the size of the hotel, and the breakfast selection is what you would expect from a Strawberry hotel, it is varied, plentiful, fresh and the staff take excellent care of you.

"I stayed over here for 4 nights and was generally pleased. The place is easily accessible to ferry / bus stops which can get you to the main city. What I really like was the amount of space, tranquility and interesting architecture in the hotel common spaces. While I agree the rooms may not feel posh, they made it up through their hardworking staff. One fine example is Mr Felix who runs the 10pm to 7am shift. He provided me with local knowledge and recommended me the spots to go to. Felix is also very welcoming and I will always always remember his hospitality such as making sure my breakfast arrangements is attended to"
