Albert Einstein's apartment in Berne, where he wrote those 4 Annus Mirabilis papers in 1905 on photo electricity, Brownian Motion, mass-energy equivalence( E = mc2) and special theory of relativity, that would be the foundation for Modern Physics.
Anyone got a street name for this please? Would be worth a visit I think. Also why potato on the first pic OP?
Einstein has always been such an icon to us. We finally visited Bern, Switzerland and this is not only the street he lived on, but that is the exact clock he was looking at while riding a bus when he imagined the Theory of Relativity.
The Tower and the clock are called [Zytglogge](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zytglogge) and has a beautiful chimes and was once the old guard tower at the city gates.

There’s also a special exhibition on the social welfare history of Switzerland. If you’re interested in both ancient and modern history and social issues, this is the museum to go to. One can spend around 2 to 3 hours here"

"Allow plenty of time for this interesting museum! You certainly don’t have to pay for all the exhibits (tickets vary), but the current Bronze World exhibit is outstanding, well worth your time. Quite a strong collection just within that one exhibit!
The Einstein floor will take at least 90 minutes, more if you really explore it thoroughly. There are several wonderful sections on mezzanines between floors as well - but if you allow time and take your time, you’ll learn so much about Bern and Switzerland through a fabulous collection.
My only complaint is the lack of space allotted to earlier civilizations in the area. I found this to be the case in other history museums as well with the exception of the Zurich History Museum. These groups were an important part of the history of each region, yet the emphasis is clearly on the Middle Ages. It would be nice to see more space given over to the previous inhabitants."
