Visitors rave about the Wiesen Viaduct's impressive engineering and stunning natural setting. The opportunity to see the historic Rhaetian Railway train cross is a major highlight, complemented by the charming station cafe and the option for scenic hikes. Some find the roads narrow, and parking can be challenging during peak times.
"Beautiful bridge, with an easy path and breathtaking catwalk to reach the viewpoint. Completely underrated and better than the Landwasserviadukt"

"Beautiful piece of early 20th century railway infrastructure with impressive and ingenious construction.
In the summertime, there are free guided tours in German starting Thursdays 2:15pm at the Wiesen station led by a charming retired RHB engineer that are absolutely worth attending for individuals and families; groups should register in advance with the IZGL. Definitely worth attending!
Afterwards, a refreshment at the lovely cafe at the Wiesen station is just the right choice for a day well spent. They also sell booklets about the line's construction full of historic photographs and various engineering diagrams there.
I highly recommend getting off at the Monstein station further up the line to Davos and hiking down the Zügen to Wiesen ahead of the viaduct tour; even on a hot ~35°C day, the ravine is a very bearable place to stay, hike, and take in the scenery at."

"Nice station with coffee shop and a short 2 minute walk to the fantastic rail bridge with awesome views of the gorge below. Be sure to visit the viewing point where you can take photos of the whole bridge. It's just over the other side and turn left. Worth a visit.."
