What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Jungfrau region for its absolutely jaw-dropping Swiss Alps scenery, calling it a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The journey to Jungfraujoch is described as magical, with the Ice Palace being a must-visit. However, many note the high cost of tickets and the unpredictable, freezing weather, advising visitors to check forecasts and dress warmly.
"This is a review in the Jungfrau area rather than the mountain itself.
Stunning countryside. The obvious valleys of Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald are well worth a visit, but do get crowded. I highly suggest taking the time to research the smaller Lesser known villages up on the mountains that can be accessed by car and gondola, where you will see the much more regional farming culture of Switzerland and experience the real mountain life that the Swiss culture is built upon.
Depending what you want to see and how much money you want to spend, you can have some great days out with stunning scenery and great people nearly for free!
Don't come all this way and miss out on these hidden gems. We didnt plan for it and found a stunning village more by accident, turned out the highlight for us in this area."
