"We went on Wednesday and there were only 5 guests. It was perfect!
Amazing hike to reach the hut, and then friendly hosts that provided an amazing meal of locally sourced foods with plenty of extra servings.
I think it may be a little different if it's full of people, but with less people it was an amazing experience.
Clean wash room with plumbing and sinks, so you will be comfortable doing the necessities! Haha"

"Love love love. Been coming here for 35 years, hopefully another 35. Team Uber friendly. Delicious lunch. Sounds like they’ll be renovating in summer 2025 so will be closed for part of the year. Look forward to seeing the updated place in ‘26!"

"One of the best huts I’ve been to. It’s fairly small but very comfortable, and wardens are super friendly. Great views, good food and drinks, comfortable beds and well maintained approach trail. Plenty of running water - not drinking, but they put out a large canister of drinking water in the morning."
