Small stereotypical Swiss town close-ish to Montreux
Going to French alps/switzerland over 2 weeks in the middle of summer. I have 7 days allocated to Switzerland, flying in and out of Geneva, looking to stay 3 or 4 nights in Montreux/Vevey area and 3 or 4 nights close to that. Bringing my 18 month, so I want a quiet mountain…
First time in Switzerland as a tourist, in need of help 🙏🙏
If you want to enjoy the scenery of Lac Léman then I highly recommend Montreux and Vevey for views and atmosphere. The boats afaik don't run in the winter but they are still gorgeous towns and you can get trains up to Rochers De Naye and/or Les Pléiades for hiking etc.
