"An ancient Roman settlement that was discovered not too long ago and there are still plenty of excavations happening. Really enjoyed exploring it, witnessing the ancient baths, churches, tombs and houses while hiking through the green steppes. Curious to see what else they discover and how it looks in a few years' time. Definitely worth a visit! There was no entry fee and there seems to be no facilities (shops, toilets etc)."

"The Ancient City of Hadrianopolis is an important ancient settlement belonging to the Roman Empire, located in the Eskipazar district of Turkey's Karabük province. Only a small part of it has been unearthed. The ruins include structures such as walls, temples, baths, agora areas, aqueducts and theatre, which shows the development of the ancient city. It reflects Roman engineering, especially in the water system and order.
Hadrianopolis has survived to the present day with most of its ancient structures preserved. The city, which was a trade and cultural center as a Roman colony, has also provided a lot of information about daily life thanks to excavations."
