Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate Magydos Ancient City for its historical significance, particularly the well-preserved Roman theatre, and its tranquil, less crowded atmosphere. It's seen as a valuable stop for history buffs and those seeking a more authentic ancient site experience. Some visitors note the limited facilities and the need for comfortable footwear and sun protection.

"This magnificent road, an engineering marvel of antiquity, was built in the 2nd century AD in the Diş Taşlar area between the ancient cities of Perge and Magydos. It is 5 meters wide, 130 meters long, and up to 4 meters high in places. It was constructed with such precision and flawless workmanship that it appears as if the bedrock had been cut open with a knife.

The ancient road and its surroundings were declared a First Degree Archaeological Site in 1996 and placed under protection, but unfortunately, we were unable to protect them."
