What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Andriake and the Museum of Lycian Civilizations for their historical significance and well-preserved ruins, particularly the ancient granary. The museum offers a valuable glimpse into Lycian culture. Some find the site could benefit from more extensive signage and facilities.
"Closed today we saw the review from a week ago and thought it might be open again but it's still closed. We did walk around the ruins which was nice but the museum is shut."

"Average ruined city.
Not much in terms of fine and exquisite architecture or delicate carving - seems it was more a trading and working community rather than sophisticated one like in several other cities.
Large Lycian museum is a well-preserved one, which is interesting, but findings in there are scarcely distributed all over its vast halls.
Water cistern is almost intact too.
Together it’s only two reasons to visit the place.
Cashier doesn’t accept card as a payment, though they have Pos available in the shop museum:("

"We went there without expectations. But the site is beyond expectations. There is an underground cistern and a large renovated grain store which is now a museum. A really beautiful site in a very quiet location."
