Visitors consistently praise Zinciriye Medresesi for its absolutely breathtaking panoramic views of Mardin and the Mesopotamian plains, calling it 'magical' and 'unforgettable.' The impressive Artuqid architecture and rich historical significance are also major draws. However, some guests note that certain areas could be cleaner and that the presence of souvenir shops inside detracts slightly from the historic ambiance.

"Incredible view and building. Summer hours are until 18h. It was fun to observe all the wedding photo shoots. We saw about 6 couples!"

Mandy Kuo

"Simply breathtaking; from the terrace, you get a fantastic view of the landscape and surroundings—simply magical. The only thing I find a shame is that some areas of such a historic and enchanting building are not very clean or are being used as storage! In my opinion, they could raise the entrance fee and keep the entire complex cleaner and tidier. Jewelry is sold in some places. In my opinion, the sales outlets would be better outside the site than inside the building itself. This does take away some of the magic. Overall, definitely worth seeing! Highly recommended! I hope the entire old town never loses its current flair and charm."
