Visitors appreciate the opportunity for tea tastings and the availability of snacks and coffee, though some have noted mixed experiences with sales staff. It's a functional and pleasant break point on the journey to Alishan.
"This is a really good rest stop. They have restrooms free to use. There is also a nice gift shop and Louisa coffee. The souvenir shop sells a bunch of tea and they make it fresh and let you taste several in hopes that you will buy. There is no obligation whatsoever, but they are very enthusiastic about having you try. Everyone was super nice. You can also buy snacks for the road. We stopped here twice once before heading up the mountain and another time on the way back."

"We didn’t do much here because it was a stop over to Alishan National Forest.
Plenty of parking space and bathrooms.
There are coffee shops and places to buy snacks but it is a popular rest stop so there may be quite a queue especially if it’s a Taiwan holiday."

"This is a small rest stop, with not that many people visiting this small place. There's toilets here for you to refresh yourself before you continue your drive. There's water dispensers available here, and a small train locomotive here with a train track that goes around a small circle! The weather is perfect here, a lot of sunshine at a perfect 21 degrees!"
