What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Qixing Mountain for its accessibility via public transport and the breathtaking views from its summit. Many enjoy the natural beauty of Yangmingshan National Park, including the unique volcanic landscapes and grasslands. Some note that trails can be challenging and weather can change quickly, advising preparedness.
"great and easily accessible mountain, when the heat gets too much in Taipei you can take the bus to the mountain trail, it goes pretty deep so you don't need to hike to the top to experience the colder air, the bus station is already at 800ish meters. so the extra height isn't necessary.
It's more crouded in winter but there is nothing wrong going in the summer to cool off a bit (make sure to catch the bus ride home)"

"Mount Qixing 七星山 is one of the prettiest hikes I've been on in Taiwan ❤️ The scenery is absolutely stunning, with Taipei to the south and east, Keelung to the southeast, Jinshan to the east and Tamsui to the west. It is rather rare for the peak not to be shrouded in mist, so this hike felt particularly unique.
From the Mt. Yangming National Park Tourist Center
陽明山國家公園遊客中心 it took about 1h 30mins to the peak via Mt. Qixing Park 七星山公園.
For anyone fond of hiking, I warmly recommend coming here 😊"

Half hiking plus taking photos
After reaching the top, the sky became clear and the fog went away
