Sadly that’s where the comfort ends since you are constantly being followed one after another and sometimes multiple at a time. The men will not stop they strongly encourage you to buy their merchandise and even when you ask multiple times for peace and to be left alone they are extremely persistent. It’s a big shame since we just wanted peace and to enjoy the beach. My girlfriend was very upset and it made a romantic time to a high stress state of mind and atmosphere"

"Kiwengwa Beach is absolutely stunning! soft white sand, clear turquoise water, and a long stretch perfect for walking. It’s a really beautiful place. There are plenty of restaurants and beach bars nearby, so it’s easy to find good food or drinks with an ocean view.
There were a lot of people constantly approaching to sell tours and souvenirs. We understand it’s part of local life, but it was a bit overwhelming when we just wanted to enjoy a peaceful walk. A friendly “no, thank you” usually works, but it does get tiring after a while."
