What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mnemba Atoll is celebrated for its stunning marine life, offering incredible snorkeling and the chance to swim with dolphins. Visitors rave about the clear blue waters and vibrant coral reefs. However, some reviews mention concerns about overcrowded tours and the impact on dolphin welfare, suggesting that early, private tours are preferable for a more ethical and enjoyable experience.
"Would not recommend. Chaos of boats, chasing after the dolphins not even allowing them to come up for air. People snorkeling in the water, and our guide yelling ‘jump, jump’ for us to get a glimpse of the stressed dolphins. Meanwhile in the water, we were even nervous about being runs over by boats and were constantly looking out - as well as nervous for all the people in the water."
