A pleasant relief from the hot clustered business area.
Approximately a bit over 3 kilometre circumvention around the reservoir, depending on the pathway taken. Generally there are three paths circumventing the reservoir; newer rim path with wheelchair access ramps from what appears to be the centre older path and the outer path for cycling. Lots of shady trees, particularly on the centre pathway. Enjoy the cool breezes coming off the reservoir as nature's own airconditioning.
Public gym equipment at various places around the lake; and, a few children's play areas.
Decrepit old toilets (near the bike hire) on the western side of the reservoir with much better toilets on the eastern side with good wheelchair access and at the north eastern end of the reservoir."

"My favourite thing to do each morning when I am in Khon Kaen is to work out for 2 hours at Way Fitness then walk around the lake. There are so many amazing flowers and interesting things to see around the lake. Stop in at KFC and fill up your water bottle with ice before walking."
