"A fascinating wat in a little village dating back to 1865. The murals are so interesting, in design, colour and the story they tell. Much work has been done over the years to preserve and restore the structure of the wat and its murals. It is a national ancient monument and one of Khon Kaen's hidden gems. The unique Buddha is beautiful. It is definitely worth a visit!"

"We came to visit this temple because of the special architecture here. There are many pictures on the wall that I have never seen anywhere in Thailand, I feels like it was there for a very long time.
However, we were not allowed to go inside the temple to visit and pray because we are women. That is the rule here. We completely respect, and just visited around the temple grounds. The weather was nice and cool, green yard, very impressive.
It's free to visit and plenty of parking place."
