Reviews Summary

Visitors find Chedi Phra Si Suriyothai to be an impressive and historically significant site, particularly appreciated for its serene park setting and the poignant story of Queen Suriyothai. The lack of an entry fee and good photo opportunities are also highlighted as positives. Some visitors note a sense of nostalgia and connection to the past.

"Located on the 'island' of Ayutthaya by the river not far from the bridge to Wat Chai Wattanaram, this chedi was erected in memory of a royal consort in the 16th century, who in warrior's disguise wanted to help her husband and died in battle against the Burmese.
There is a beautiful little park surrounding the chedi. If you park and walk around the well manicured grounds it is quite impressive. Some people go to pay respect to the spirit of the late queen who was regarded as a martyr. No entry ticket to pay here and some good photo opportunity"

Kanit Sunchatavirul

"Great place contributed to Pra Sri Suriyothai, queen of Phra maha Jakraphat in Ayutthaya Era. 500 years ago"

Kay Sogiwat

"There also emanates nostalgia for the old days here too, even now.
I cannot develop it here "why".

Check it out here as well."
