What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Japanese Village a charming and affordable stop in Ayutthaya, offering a unique cultural experience with its museum and traditional attire rentals. While some note the food quality could be improved, its tranquil atmosphere and historical insights make it a worthwhile visit, especially for those with ample time.
"This place is really great although have limited attractions, snack and restaurants it still has its own unique charm. Very laid back, Relaxed atmosphere with lesser tourists and visitors. Not hot at all 9ffers lots of shade to sit and relax after a long hot tour in Ayuthaya. Offers Very informative historical video about the Japanese settlement and it's significance with thai history. The food was not fresh and is frozen and only microwaved though so less star for that"

"We love Japan and was curious about this village to see what it is about. It is actually more of a museum but also has some outdoor space to have a small walk. You will feel a bit like you are in Japan. Japan has a rich history with trading in the past with Ayutthaya, and many Japanese were living in Ayutthaya back then.
To be honest, it is nice if you have a lot of time in Ayutthaya. But if you don't have much time, this is definitely something that should be on your top things to do in Ayutthaya."

"Interesting museum to visit with nice gardens and coffee shop. You can hire old styles of Japanese clothes to wear while there."
