"I read that getting a taxi on Grab app to go to the airport is difficult. I managed to get someone after several denied my request and he said the amount on Grab is too little and ask 600 bht There are no taxis waiting outside the airport either so you might want to prearrange a pick up.

They really invested in the grounds around the small airport so that passengers have something to do while they wait. There's a cafe, a kids playground, temple, random zoo with 2 giraffes and zebras spread out over a large area.
