What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the absolutely magnificent mountain views and the unique experience of being close to the Myanmar border. The adventurous, steep road is part of the thrill for many. However, some note that new hotel constructions are beginning to obstruct some of the original vistas.
"Very steep zigzag road along the Birmese border that took me there. Amazing nature and awesome views"

"Beautiful spot even in the pouring rain. We rode a 160cc scooter double it just barely made some of the hills. A very windy road so take your time. The scenery was beautiful and you are only a stone throw from Myanmar. Not to many tourists. We would recommend going to see, I do not think that you will regret it.

"Very picturesque village in Chiang Rai mountains. Mountain views from there WERE just magnificent! "Were", because the village us being actively filled with many multi-storied hotels that obstruct the views from the roads while providibg it from the balconies their guest rooms instead. A very common Thai case of killing the chicken for meat rather than letting it to lay eggs."
