Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Portuguese Settlement a quick historical stop, offering a unique glimpse into the past with its graves and church remnants. While appreciated for its historical context and Portuguese atmosphere, many note its dilapidated condition and lack of maintenance, suggesting it's more of a brief site visit than a comprehensive museum experience.
"Cool spot to quickly stop by. Nobody’s there when we were there, just walk in, write down your name, and that’s it. When you walk inside all you can really look at is the skeletons in the containers and the in the ground. Don’t go if you expect something super awesome.
There’s a cute cat that’s there! He’s brown. Cute cat. Made things a little bit more interesting."

"More of a site + display rather than a museum at this point. Some 15 mins away by grab from the Ayutthaya train station. A small building containing graves and skeletons of Portuguese settlers from the 16th century who established a parish here of the Dominican order. Worth a visit if you are bored of seing temple ruins and crave a slightly different pov of medieval
Ayutthaya although the building has seen better days. About 20-30 mins should be enough"
