Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Wat Nang Phaya for its well-preserved structures and the tranquil, less crowded atmosphere of Si Satchanalai Historical Park. The opportunity to explore the main temple and examine ancient engineering blueprints are highlights. Some find the site smaller than expected, but appreciate the peaceful surroundings.
"A beautiful temple with most of the structures preserved. This is the 2nd stop if you take the tram. It is smaller then Wat Theo so we got about 15mins to go around before the tram leaves for the next stop. You can climb on the main wat and go around the dark room which was kind of eerie.
Si Satchanalai is not as crowded as the Sukhothai Park but it was great for us since we have all the wats for ourselves. We were able to appreciate it more because we can only hear the birds and the breeze. We were also able to go around and take photos without waiting in line.
Outside the wat, they provided blueprint plans to of how the wat was constructed giving us an idea on this marvel of ancient engineering."
