Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Peranakan Museum's stunning architecture and the immersive cultural experience it offers. It's a highly recommended spot for photography, with many visitors opting for traditional attire to enhance their photos. While specific details on crowds or entry fees are scarce, the overall sentiment points to a visually rich and culturally significant destination.

"A lovely peranakan museum with some cafes and shops with peranakan theme. The entry cost 200 baht for Thais. They recreated replica of peranakan home, foods here. Having visited peranakan museum in Penang and Singapore before, this Phuket Museum is definitely lacking in term of authentic relics and display items. as most of it are replicas. Some of the displayed photos also are lack of context, just some random old photos being displayed without explanation. Overall, it's not worth the ticket price."

Mohammad Syawal

"Lovely museum for us to discover our long lost Thai Peranakan roots (our family is part Thai and part Singapore Peranakan), also lovely costume rental and photo taking opportunity, lots of retail, and the staff are warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful."

Ben Ang

"Very interesting. Well setup exhibits and very good - FREE - tour guide, even for just one person 👍.
Restaurant downstairs was good and reasonably priced.
Jewellery was exquisite and 😵 "reasonably" priced."
