What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Saphan Hin Park is praised as a refreshing local escape from Phuket's busy tourist spots, offering a glimpse into daily life with its walking paths and sports activities. Visitors appreciate the pleasant evening atmosphere and the opportunity to enjoy local snacks. However, some may find it lacks the typical tourist attractions and can be quite busy with locals during peak hours.
"It is a large, green, interesting park, from the shore of which you can see a lighthouse and several ships that once went astray. The air here is very fresh and clean, produced by coniferous cousaurines and diluted by the sea breeze, which is pleasant to breathe during an evening jog.
The park has fitness equipment, stadiums, soccer and basketball courts, a swimming pool, a rollerdrome and a dance center. There is also an interesting, Buddhist temple and a monument to Prince Chumphon. In the center of the beach is a large tractor, which kids love to climb on while others swing on the tractor swing.
This place is worth a visit for a change or a pleasant walk with children in the park, the shore of which is washed by the sea.

"Cute park. Beautiful views. There is a Buddha temple worth visiting. Here there is a nice, clean toilet and a couple of cages with tiny ,chirping, colourful lovebirds. This is a sports complex, so lot of kids and students playing around. There is no beach here. One public swimming pool. I went inside. The caretaker asked whether I wanted to swim. The charge isone baht. Clean, big swimming pool not at all crowded. I did not have a swimming trunk with me.May be next time. I walked here from Old town by the side of the canal. On the way there is one coconut seller where you get a very sweet tender coconut for 35 baht."
