Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the serene beauty and unique construction of the Su Tong Pae Bridge, often calling it a tranquil escape and a highlight of their Mae Hong Son visit. The peaceful atmosphere, especially in the early morning mist, and the spiritual ambiance of the temple are frequently praised. Some note the steep steps to the temple and the sun exposure in the open fields.

"Very nice spot with beautiful views!
You can easily spend about 30–45 minutes walking along the bamboo bridge, visiting the temple at the end, and heading back. There’s a cozy coffee shop near the bridge where you can grab a cold drink and relax. The small souvenir shop is also lovely and offers very affordable items.
Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic visit!"

"We liked this place. Good for a rest stop, love the little walk.
You're prompted to make a donation before you go in for the monks or something.
Decent cafe overlooking the rice fields and the bridge as well."

"Really interesting cave to visit with signs of habitation going back thousands of years. We had the misfortune of coming there just at the tailend of the rainy season. That meant we could not visit cave 2 and 3 (where ancient coffins are visible). Not sure if this was because the water was too high or the bridge was swept away during a flood, the explanation was lost on me. Anyway, even just the one cave was totally worth the short detour from the Mae Hong Son loop."
