What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ya Nui Beach is praised for its excellent snorkeling and beautiful sunset views, making it a favorite for many visitors. While small, its accessibility and the availability of rentals for kayaks and snorkel gear add to its appeal. Some visitors note that the beach can get crowded during peak sunset times and advise caution regarding sea conditions during certain seasons.
"A gorgeous beach which is fabulous for snorkelling with wonderful fish a couple of metres from the waters edge but the downside is the rubbish floating in the water which is so sad to see."

"My visit to Yanui Beach in Phuket was a delightful escape from the island’s busier spots.
Tucked between Windmill Viewpoint and Promthep Cape, this small, crescent-shaped cove offers soft golden sand and clear, turquoise waters perfect for a serene day out.
Arriving early via Bolt from Kata (15-minute ride, with 250-400 THB), the beach was tranquil, with hardly any crowds. Snorkeling around the northern headland and rocky promontory was fantastic, vibrant corals and fish abound, with gear rentals at 100 THB. Kayaking to Koh Man, a nearby island, was a highlight for just 100-150 THB/hour.
The beach’s laid-back vibe, framed by lush hills, is ideal for families and couples. Two small restaurants across the road, like Royros, serve tasty Thai dishes (200 THB) and refreshing coconut drinks.
However, litter in the water was noticeable, and low tide exposes rocks, making swimming tricky. No sunbeds or umbrellas keep it unspoiled, but bring a towel for shade under trees. Parking is limited, so arrive early.
Despite minor drawbacks, Yanui’s charm and proximity to stunning viewpoints make it a must-visit for a peaceful Phuket beach day."

"Yanui is a very cozy and beautiful beach. It is shaped like a corner with a stone slide in the corner! Through the beautiful boats and yachts standing close to the shore, you can see an interesting island that dampens the strong waves even in the rainy season. Yanui is a beautiful, tropical landscape represented by mixed trees, a mountain and, in places, a rocky entrance to the sea. It is approximately 170 meters long - it is a small beach.
It is not the most popular place in terms of tourist companies, so even in high season there are not so many people, and it will not be difficult to find a cozy place under: the sun, an umbrella or the shade of trees! Umbrellas can be rented here.
The sand here is soft, gray in color. The entrance to the sea is deep. The water in the sea is transparent, bluish color! In the high season there is practically no wind!
This beach is recommended for swimming with small children due to the lack of strong waves!
