I had always wondered what real wine tasting would feel like and recently, I finally got the chance to experience it at GranMonte Vineyards in Khao Yai, thanks to a friend. The excitement started the moment we arrived; the lush green vines stretched out beautifully against the backdrop of the countryside.
Our guide took us through the vineyards, explaining the art of cultivation, the aging process, and the different grape varieties. I was fascinated by the farming side of it all. It struck me how much patience, dedication, and courage it takes to grow grapes and nurture a vineyard. GranMonte truly let us savor the farming experience before introducing us to the wines, which made the tasting even more meaningful.
The hospitality was exceptional warm yet refined, making the whole experience feel very special. Each sip of wine carried the essence of the land, and I left with a deeper appreciation for both farming and winemaking.
