"Great experience! Knowledgeable guides! Clean looking surroundings. Good food and drink! Hospitable staff. Well worth the cost! I would say international standard. For those who can appreciate beauty and silence except the sound of nature. Lovely rivers. Clear water pool to bathe! A functioning toilet along the trail. Would you believe that! Most of all, wide variety of hummingbirds and toucans etc."

"The new buildings are beautiful and well maintained. The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful. The bird viewing area allowed us to see tons of hummingbirds and other birds. The walking trails were very pretty. The food was fantastic as was the cocoa tea. The little gift shop had some lovely items."

"We had 2 nights at Asa Wright and what a wonderful experience. We had been 10+ years ago and decided it was time for a revisit. The renovations and additions are amazing, so well done and very tasteful. From the arrival greeting, induction to the property, attention to detail, service of all the staff and the food, we had an exceptional time. Our bird guides were extremely knowledgeable and during our time there we had the joy of recording the sighting of 41 individual species of birds along with beautiful flowers throughout the forest and other creatures seen along the way. Our biggest unexpected birding treat was seeing 5 Toucans!!
We will definitely be returning later this year as this place was so good for the soul."
