"Zaouia of Sidi Sahab is also known as the "Barber's Mosque". It is said that when Muhammad's barber came to Kairouan, he was wearing three tufts of Muhammad's beard. In order to commemorate his contribution, this "Shrine of the Sacred Friend" was built to commemorate him after his death. Originally, it was just a small mausoleum, but it was gradually expanded to include a Koran school and a mosque. When we visited, we happened to see two couples holding their weddings. The scene was so lively!"
