Reviews Summary
While the Café des Délices Viewpoint boasts a stunning sea view, most visitors report negative experiences with overpriced food, poor quality, and questionable billing practices. Many advise caution and suggest enjoying the scenery without ordering a full meal to avoid disappointment and potential overcharging.
"Stay away!! The waiter is a thief that charged us euros instead of dinars. OK, the view is nice but it is a complete ripoff if you have to pay the bill. After arrival suddenly there was no more price list available (he took the plate with prices against the wall away) and when we asked to pay the bill he charged us 13 euros!! for 1 cappuccino and 1 lemon drink!! Afterwards we heard from people that it happens more that they charge euros for dinars in this place.
This is place is a scam, unworthy of being part of a lovely tourist place."

"I’m furious at myself for even stepping foot in this disgraceful café. This place has ZERO respect for customers – they treat you like dirt!
We ordered two pizzas at night – they arrived uncut, tasteless (no salt!), and ice-cold. Absolutely disgusting!
To make it worse, we got a lemonade and a strawberry drink, each for 18 dinars, and the pizzas were 30 dinars each (total: 96 dinars). A complete rip-off for the pathetic quality!
When we paid with 100 dinars, the staff didn’t even bother giving us change! We had to argue just to get our money back, and they acted like we were the problem. Unbelievable!
The waiter who served us was rude, unprofessional, and shameless. I hope he gets treated the same way someday.
To the authorities: This kind of scam is bad for Tunisian tourism. Tourists deserve better than being robbed and disrespected.
Final verdict: AVOID THIS PLACE! If you enjoy being ripped off, eating garbage, and dealing with arrogant staff, go ahead. Otherwise, save your money and dignity!"

"The only things which is good about this place is the sea view.
I had a bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered only one grilled fish with fries, but the waiter brought me two fish. I explained that my husband is vegetarian and didn’t want fish, but the waiter was rude and didn’t seem to care.
When it was time to pay, the bill was 86 dinars, which was too much. I had already checked the menu:
Grilled fish with salad and fries was 48 dt
1L water was 3.5 dt
Extra plate of fries was 15 dt
Even with that, the total shouldn't be 86 dt. It felt like they tried to overcharge us, and the attitude of the waiter made the whole experience worse. I don’t recommend this place based on our visit.
What is noticed as well all the waiters are running to catch more customers but to take care about the one that they have already .....NO.
المبلغ اللي أخذته مش كبير بالنسبة لي ومارح يسويلي شي...بس شوف شو رح تقول لرب العالمين ..
PS: always check the price on the menu ."
