"Fabulous museum. It has the best collection of mosaics outside Tunis where the Bardo museum has Tunisia's best collection. I also really like the inclusivity of the museum as it has replicas of some of the details on a few mosaics so that blind people can have their own impression of what is depicted rather than having to rely on descriptions from their companions, these models also have explanations in braille. Boards with explanations of the various exhibits are in Arabic, French and English,making them accessible to the majority of visitors. Cost to enter is very reasonable."

"I loved visiting this small museum and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The mosaics are beautiful. The only downside were the toilets as they were quite grotty, no toilet paper to dry yourself after using the bidet, no dryer or paper towels to dry your hands with either."

"The museum is in the center of the city, a short walk from the Medina. The mosaic displays and exhibits are comprehensive and well laid out.
It has a nice courtyard and from here you get aerial views looking down into the Medina and Sussa city.
In the neighbourhood a Citadel was totaly closed, no entry.
Well worth a visit when in Tunisia, Sussa or Monastyr."
