"Doğanbey Village is a delightful place to visit if you're a fan of cobbled streets and stone built houses. Spring time is the best time to go as it's not too hot for walking around and there's an abundance of beautiful and colourful flowers that will enhance your experience and photos.
There are a few cafés where you can take a scenic break and stalls selling ice cream, home made produce etc.
What makes your experience more interesting is seeing the old stone ruins of past dwellings amongst the new stone houses and Pansiyons.
Tip: Best to wear trainers or hiking boots for this adventure!"

"I recently visited Old Doğanbey in December, and it was such a delightful experience. The weather was mild and pleasant, perfect for exploring. The town was serene, full of charming cats wandering around. I stopped by Samoa Cafe and enjoyed gözleme filled with eggplant, paired with a soothing cup of tea. It was the ideal way to experience the calm atmosphere of this historic village."

"Another must visit place around Didim Muğla. İt is an old abandoned Greek village. Some of the stone houses are restored, others in ruins. Pictures tell a better story than my description. Be careful driving over the dirt road leading to the village. There is a small tea/coffee house also. At the entrance to the village is a small museum that exhibits mummified wild animals that used to live around Didim. The two story museum building used to be the village hospital.
Enjoy"
