"The French Cemetery was incredibly quiet and empty, but it was extremely well-maintained, clean, and beautifully maintained. The monument I photographed is a must-see. It's also located next to the graves of important French commanders. You don't necessarily need to know French; you can simply admire the monument's beauty. If I had more time, I would have tried to translate the inscriptions of the important figures. My only warning: you might have difficulty climbing up and down.
"2,249 of them have known identities, while 15,000 Frenchmen lie unknown."
