Visitors are highly impressed with the recent renovation of Seddulbahir Fortress, praising its well-kept state and historical significance. The beautiful sea views and the small museum with archaeological finds are frequently highlighted as positives. While generally free to enter, some visitors wish for more extensive information on-site.
"The castle was constructed in 1659 together with Kumkale located on the Asian side, to defend the entrance of the Dardanelles Strait. Then it was restored in recent years, it was my first visit after restoration. I am really impressed. It was a surprise to me since I was completely ignorant about the restoration. We were a bit tired and just passing by to have acupuncture of tea, when we realized the novelty. That's why we just had a quick look around. It definitely deserves more attention."
