What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Klaros Sanctuary is praised as a simple, peaceful, and free ancient site. Visitors enjoy its tranquil atmosphere and the opportunity to imagine life in antiquity. While some note that many pieces are replicated and it's a small site, its historical significance as an oracle center and its accessibility make it a worthwhile stop for those nearby.
"A very simple, but enjoyable antique town. It is quite small, with a single security guard there. There is no entry fee. Very easy to move around and some useful signs in both English and Turkish to read. I do always love going to these places and being amazed by how old the features are. Would recommend taking some time here, and imagining what it must have been like living there 2000+ years ago.
An area which is known for people coming in Ionian times to have their prophecy told."
