What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Olba Ancient City interesting, particularly its aqueduct and the potential for future discoveries from ongoing digs. However, some feel the site is not extensive enough for a dedicated trip, suggesting it's best visited if passing by or combined with nearby attractions.
"This location is about 10min to Uzuncaburc Site. The city is spread across the main road and blocked in some parts by private land. There is still active digging going on next to the cafe. They did not allow us to take pictures in that location but overall nice site to visit. I am excited to see what they will found and how they will display it in the near future. If you are planning to visit Uzuncaburc, definitely visit this site. Then drive little more to see the Aqueduct!!! Some of the reviews show Uzuncaburc site and some Aqueduct site but this location is neither!!!"
Murat Guvendiren
"It's a sprawling site that if you have a lot of time to explore could be fun, but we were a little disappointed to be honest. Sure, the aquaduct is impressive and the size of the walls and watch towers certainly suggest that it would have been safe, but there is not that much here that you can't see elsewhere.
Our advice - if you are passing then stop by for 30 mins, but don't drive here just for the city."
